We install, service, fault-find and repair across commercial and industrial premises. It matters because ventilation and air handling are what make a building usable. Air quality, temperature stability, humidity and extraction affect staff comfort, product and process conditions, and in kitchens and plant rooms they are a safety requirement rather than a preference. Sites use us in two ways. As a subcontractor to larger mechanical and M&E firms who need reliable engineers on a package, and directly for building owners and facilities managers who want mechanical services handled without a main contractor in between. Because we hold commercial and industrial gas registration alongside this work, gas-fired plant, air heating and the ventilation and interlocks around it can be delivered by one contractor rather than split between two. ### Facilities and building managers Planned servicing, reactive repairs and upgrades on AHUs, FCUs, ventilation and BMS-controlled plant. ### Industrial and warehouse sites Extract and supply ventilation, ductwork distribution, air heating and process ventilation across large-volume buildings. ### M&E and mechanical contractors Subcontract mechanical labour and gas-qualified engineers on project packages, with RAMS and documentation supplied. In detail ## Mechanical and ventilation work in detail The plant and systems below cover most of what we are asked to install, service and repair on commercial and industrial sites. ### Air handling units Supply and extract AHUs including filter sections, heating and cooling coils, heat recovery sections, fans, drives and dampers. Servicing covers filter replacement and airflow verification, coil cleaning, condensate trays and drainage, belt and bearing condition, damper actuators and control response. Repair work extends to fan and motor replacement, drive and bearing changes, coil repair or replacement and actuator and sensor faults. Where a unit is beyond economic repair we say so and price replacement instead of servicing it indefinitely. ### Fan coil units Ceiling void and floor-mounted FCUs serving offices and commercial spaces, including filter and coil cleaning, condensate pump and drain checks, valve and actuator operation, fan and motor replacement, and control and thermostat faults. Condensate is the recurring FCU problem: a blocked drain or failed pump puts water into the ceiling below, which is why it is a standard check on every service visit. ### Ductwork and ventilation systems Supply and extract ductwork in galvanised steel, rigid and flexible sections, grilles, diffusers, dampers, attenuators and fire dampers. Installation, modification and extension of distribution systems, plus fan replacement on extract and supply systems. Applications include general building ventilation, toilet and washroom extract, commercial kitchen extract and make-up air, warehouse and factory ventilation, and process extract where equipment produces heat, fumes or moisture. ### BMS and controls Building management system controlled plant: sensors, actuators, valves, dampers, schedules and setpoints. We work on the mechanical plant the BMS drives, resolve faults where plant and controls disagree, and correct schedules and setpoints that have been overridden and forgotten. A large share of 'plant faults' are control faults, a failed sensor, a stuck actuator or a schedule nobody has reviewed since the building was handed over. ### Air heating and gas-fired plant Direct and indirect fired warm air units, plaque and tube radiant heaters and non-domestic boilers, all covered under our commercial and industrial gas registration.
